Many of you have heard of ThemeGrade. But one thing I am sure is this site is slowly gaining popularity in the Wordpress theme industry. It has been doing things quite differently than what most others are doing when it comes to reviewing Wordpress themes.

ThemeGrade has developed a very useful method in reviewing and rating both free and premium themes. A quick look at the theme’s post page reveal how a theme has been tested. The general test shows how well a theme has been coded while the SEO test shows if a theme is optimized for search engines.

In order for the visitors to make quick impression of a theme, ThemeGrade combines the two scores and offers either a gold, a silver or a bronze award if the theme are coded with high standard. This is such an innovative approach that I don’t see anywhere else that does just that.

Though ThemeGrade doesn’t provide indepth review of the coding structure and other important SEO elements, it is by far the most comprehensive tests that are performed at such length and such big quantity. Take a tour at ThemeGrade.com and you should discover more than what I just described here.

Their effort has been recognized by major premium theme providers as each of them agrees to sponsor ThemeGrade up to 5 copies of their themes. I am not talking about 2-3 providers here. ThemeGrade managed to garner 60+ premium themes from over 14 providers. Now that’s massive!
