How to make a nice 3D text
![]() Hello and welcome to our second tutorial on AREA 1! In this tutorial I will explain you how to make a nice 3D text in Adobe Photoshop, so let’s get started. First, create a new file using: Next, select the Text Tool and type your text. Right click on the new created text layer and choose Rasterize Type. Next, while hold CTRL + ALT press the up arrow around 6-8 times. Now you should have 7 or 9 layers of your text (1 original + 6 or 8 copies). Select the first layer (Layer copy 6 or 8), right click on it and go to Blending Options > Drop Shadow. Change the blend mode to Soft light. See Screenshot 6. Now let’s go to the second layer (Layer copy 5 or 7, -1 the Layer you used above), right click and go to Blending Options > Gradient Overlay. Add a gradient. See Screenshot 7. Add the same gradient to all the layers, excepting the first one on which we have added Drop Shadow. Now let’s go to our last layer, the original one, right click and go to Blending Options > Drop Shadow. Change the Blend Mode to Normal and Size to 10. See Screenshot 8. That’s it! You can do a lot of modifications to it.
